The Dnipro Hotel, one of the best four star hotels in Ukraine, was constructed in 1964. One of its architects was V.D.Elizarov, who together with his colleagues was working on a new architectural ensemble of Khreshchatyk during 1947 - 1954. Today the Dnipro hotel is more than 40-year experience in the sphere of industry of hospitality. The Dnipro hotel welcomes guests from 95 world countries and is one of the most open in Ukraine for cooperation in the sphere of tourism management. The four-star hotel Dnipro is a registered trade mark, member of Business Council of the World Tourist Organization, American and Kyiv Chambers of Commerce, and it was frequently recognized as the best hotel in Ukraine. The hotel is situated in the very heart of Kyiv, on the European Square of the capital, in historic, business and cultural center of the city. The Dnipro hotel is very popular both among foreign and native tourists. Primary causes that make him attractive to the foreigners and Ukrainians are that here they can find a calm place and comfort, considered strategy of tourist business management along with the quality of rendering the services, personnel amiability and professionalism. Today the Dnipro hotel is a trade mark, which is famous far beyond the bounds of Ukraine. Time after time, the hotel was marked with various awards and certificates, among which there were: Honorary mark and Honorary certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "For substantial contribution to the development of tourism in Ukraine, for high quality of services, and introduction of new progressive technologies". Dnipro hotel is awarded with diplomas of the winner and laureate of a national professional tourism program "Kryshtalevyi Leleka", Honorary diplomas and bronze medals in the International competition of the culinary art in Malta. Our hotel received a diploma of the winner in competition "Zolotyi Kovpak" in the nomination "The best hotel restaurant", also, it has Grand Prix and gold medals for the first place in the National festival "Stars of the culinary art".

In May, 2006 representatives of the restaurant, V.A.Gribov (chef) together with A.V. Hamazenko (the 6-th rate cook) participated in the 1-st International Festival of the Cookery Art on the island Crete (Greece) and were awarded 2 gold and 1 silver medals in various nominations, also, received silver award in team competitions. Every year during international shows in Kyiv, the very restaurant of the OJSC Dnipro hotel is invited for participation. Information regarding participation and winning of the hotel representatives is given to the information agency UNIAN.

According to the results of 2005, Association of the Hotel Unions and Hotels of Ukraine recognized the OJSC Dnipro hotel as the best hotel in Ukraine for its high activity, provision of high-quality services for the citizens, as well as provision of high-quality hotel services.

In June, 2006 OJSC Dnipro hotel under the direction of the Head of the Board, Drapushko Rostyslav Grygorovych, received a Golden Europe Award "For Quality" in the ceremony, which took place in Paris (France). It is necessary to note that the hotel became the only representative in the sphere of tourism in Ukraine, which has been marked out with this honorary award this year. It is already the second time when the OJSC Dnipro hotel received this honorary award. Information about hotel participation in the reward ceremony was placed in a special catalogue "Trade Leaders’ Club".

In August, 2006 the hotel became a winner of the Ukrainian exhibition-contest "The Best Domestic Product 2006" in the nomination "Hotel services". Ukrainian contest "The Best Domestic Product" is organized according to the Order of the President of Ukraine from September 24, 2005 N 1337 for the purpose of promotion the technological progress acceleration, and technological re-equipment of production, as well as the rise of competitiveness level of domestic product and its launch to new marketing outlets. The award was received by the First Deputy Head of the Board - Vadym Tochenyi.

Today the Dnipro hotel welcomes guests from 95 world countries and is one of the most open in Ukraine for cooperation in the sphere of tourism management. According to the results of 2005, guests from such countries as: Russia, Germany, USA, Italy, Great Britain, France, Austria, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland are the permanent clients of the Dnipro hotel.

Since 1999 the hotel has been actively participating in the most prestigious international exhibitions, what gives it a possibility to embrace different world countries and create a detailed analysis of tourist flow growth from different countries during years.
